One of my favorite Barbecue places of all time. It's seat, serve, and clean up after yourselves. The food is superb and you have choices between sitting at the bar, sitting at a table inside, or sitting outside in their yard. I recommend you get the Lemonade and the barbecue pork with whatever sides they have available.

We headed to the counter thinking that we could maybe get some takeout, but they quickly assured us it would be no problem at all for us to eat in. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches (nicely overflowing with pork) and a giant wedge of cornbread. Service was quick and friendly, and the food really hit the spot for a couple of hungry hikers.
Great atmosphere, best food in the area. Owners could not be nicer and truer to Maine culture. Go early, its popular.
Surprising little place that doesn't look like much from the street. Good food.
